I'm a new patient, so I knew there would be a fee. I didn't mind paying it at the end the of my visit however when I finished filling out my new patient forms the receptionist told me I had to pay $81.00 now. I was confused because I hadn't seen the doctor but told her that I am good for it and will pay at the end of my visit because thats what I have always done. They insisted thats the way they do it here. I laughed & walked out. Its obvious he only cares about the $$.

Waiting room area small and very warm. Dr. won't speak to you after hours. He won't read anything you write to him or bring to him to read to him. He makes you feel rushed. He won't prescribe any benzo drug for anxiety under any conditions. He made me suffer for 4 months before a long term anti-anxiety drug kicked in & finding the right one took time. For a cholesterol blood test he doesn't have you fast which he should.

The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. The young women at the front desk are clueless. The Doctor, himself, doesn't speak to patients on the phone, call back after hours, and has no hospital privleges. Now, that's what I call a primary care physician. The only care he takes is of himself. Also, when I was fasting, I thought it may be a good idea to get some lab work done, but Dr. Schmidt refused. I guess if there is anything our of kilter, he can tell by looking at me.

Dr Schmidt is a no nonsense doctor who really knows his medicine! Right to the point, he tells it like it is. He loves what he does. I like that he also takes walk ins. A real plus when you need to see a doctor.

Dr. Schmidt is very focused on what he does and finding answers to whatever concerns you. He is very diligent and always reviews his files every time you see him. A most excellent doctor. It is obvious to me he is a doctor because he wants to be.
