I was given a BP pill/ water pill. Don't know the name at this moment, but had terrible side effects...horrible headache, dizziness lasting all day and Restlessness all day. Only took them for 2 days along with Potassium pill I was prescribed. Stopped taking them and did not go get the Blood Test. Also was never told about my EKG while sitting there with the doctor. Dr Lakow has a great personality, show he cares about the patient, does not rush you out the door.
Dr. Lakow was on call when I had an emergency stay in the Hospital. I was so grateful that he was. My blood pressure was 210/110 and the first thing he did when he met me was make me laugh. Just what my worried /weary body needed. So when it came time for follow up I cancelled my regular cardiologist and started as a new patient with Dr. Lakow. Dr. Lakow is FANTASTIC to say the least. He takes all the time needed to work with me and explain my medical conditions, and what needs to be done to improve them. I HIGHLY recommend him.
