I can’t recommend Dr. Yamazaki enough! I recently saw him for a leg injury that had been causing me constant pain, affecting both my mobility and daily life. Dr. Yamazaki not only took the time to understand the details of my injury but also thoroughly explained every treatment option available. I visited Dr. Michael Yamazaki in Sports Medicine and feel compelled to leave a glowing review. I’m used to being asked what’s currently bothering me, rather than being given the floor to start from the beginning and walk through all the steps that have led me to being here today. I have not found any who had a deeper understanding and spent the time to listen to where I was hurting and was able to provide suggestions that have giving me the first feelings of relief in eight years. What athletes do to their bodies and demand from their bo... read more

Dr. Weldon, shoulder specialist, referred me to Dr. Yamazaki. I'd had shoulder problems the past 3 years. I had a calcium deposit the size of a half macadamia nut in the L shoulder tendon. Dr. Yamazaki explained how it could be removed w/o surgery by using an MRI to guide a needle into it, explode it, and suction it out. It took 8 minutes, I barely felt anything. I walked out with a bandaid, calcium deposit gone, no pain. Occupational therapist Farrah prepared me with shoulder stretches to limber that joint before and after;... read more
