I did not feel a thing as he gave me a shot for numbing and I didn't feel a thing as he cut the cancer out of my finger. It was a deep cut and I am still amazed I didn't have any pain. Two days later I am still doing well and have not had to have any pain medication at all!
Dr. Huether and his team were personable, professional, and very focused on the patient experience. I would not hesitate to recommend the practice to anyone needing skin cancer surgery.

Facility was clean and bright. Staff was very helpful and staff answered all questions without jargon and seemed to put the patients at ease. Waiting time was minimal.Pain was well managed. Dr Huether was very polite but clearly focused on the procedure. Post visit, all is well.
Pre visit coordination calls and email necessary and appreciated so there are no surprises. Day of appt. went smoothly and Dr. plus staff did everything needed to provide care and comfort during the procedure. We left there with clear understanding of what was accomplished and what to expect. Follow-up appt. made before leaving
Dr. Heuther has taken care, while removing several types of skin cancer, over several years. He is an expert, and I trust, that he will always remove all of the cancer, and repair the wound, with care, to make sure that the area heals, as well as it can, cosmetically. Staff and Medical Assistants are kind, share all needed instructions, for post op care. Also Dr. Heuther checks in , that evening, to make sure all is going well. The surgery center runs like a well oiled machine. I was told what to expect before coming in, and what I experienced matched what I was told. I was cared for by several staff members who all did their jobs efficiently, while making sure I was OK. After the visit, I was called by the doctor at home in the evening to make sure I was doing OK and to answer any questions. The following morning I was called by someone else on Dr. Huether's staff to make sure I did OK the night before.
