This gentleman did quite a job reconstructing both feet of my daughter. This happened over a two year period when she was 11 - 13. I found him very knowledgeable and professional. He followed through with us and was a good surgeon by all accounts. (daughter physical therapist was very impressed with the reconstruction itself). He came highly recommended and did a excellent job.
Upon referral from local Kenai Orthopedic Dr, we went to Anchorage to see Geitz... he jumped to the conclusion that immediate surgery was needed... made no eye contact with us at all, and had no patients for his 7 yr old patient... his office manager had issues helping us to arrange transportation... (we have medicaid, and it's the "physicians responsibility" to set it up)and when I tried discussing this, he said that I was putting my needs and comfort in front of my daughters need for a (now he says) "non-emergent" elective... read more
