I tried to get a referral to a specialist for when I return from Florida but receptionist would not accommodate even though it is critical.
Actual visits are fine. But any kind of follow up, referral, phone call, you name it, and you're reminded that you're just a number to them. It's next to impossible to get anyone on the phone. Your only relationship will be with their voicemail.
Office staff (specifically front desk girl) is very unfit felt both over the phone and in person. Dr. App is a great person maybe even great doctor but lacking as a pediatrician. The appointments seem very rushed with no time to talk about questions. They forget things often and do not follow up. When it comes to checking milestones for children, well they don’t. Find and actual pediatrician now and save yourself the trouble of switching later.
I have been a patient of Dr App for 15 years. He is a friendly and talented practitioner who I trust completely. We are close to the same age and he truly empathizes with my health concerns. I recommend him without reservation

The App's, Peter, Michael and Colleen are OUTSTANDING. Michael is a caring professional, develops a great team and surrounds his practice with wonderful associates.
Very impressed with Dr App and his PA Allison and Kelly. Have felt a real patient connect and they seem like they really care. Office can be busy but some how they can get you in at a reasonable time. Wearing maize and blue do catch the eyes of some . I highly recommend Dr App!
We moved here recently from Chicago and hadn't had very good luck finding a pediatrician for my 3 kids. My 6 year old has many health issues and we frequent dr. quite a bit. Dr. App'S office always gets us in to be seen. The staff is warm and caring. My husband and I have decided to go to the practice as well. The only "issue" that I have is being such a busy office, we had to call them for test results a couple of times. Not a huge deal. All in all, I'm so glad that we found this Dr.
Doesn't spend much time at each appointment. Didn't ask about my son's eating and it turns out he has sensory processing disorder which had kept him from eating solids until he is two. Not sure Dr. App would have caught that. Staff is not in top of things either.
