Had only very minor surgery but it was done well, efficiently, and fully explained. I would have no hesitation to return to him for more complicated procedures. He listens well, and respects patient's opinions and perspectives. Luckily my health has been good over the years so my experience with doctors has not been extensive, but his professional manner is among the best I've seen.
Dr. Higgins saved my husbands life. He removed a cancerous tumor and didn't stop until he got it all out. He explained everything to us about the cancer and surgical options. He came to the hospital anytime we had an extra question. He was supportive, caring, understanding and extremely knowledgable. He was patient and kind and was never rushed when he spent time with us. Dr Higgins is very knowledgable and caring. He has great bedside manner. He took the time to explain to me my procedure, what he was going to do exactly and the possible complications. He listened to all my concerns and made me feel better about my surgery. I recovered from the surgery quickly with no complications and my incisions were tiny and look great. I expect little to no scarring.
