Dr. Lawley was extremely caring and knowledgeable with us. Our son was born with congenital limb difference and every thing Dr. Lawley told us straight from the beginning has been absolutely spot on.
Dr. Lawley was fantastic and thorough. Explained the "why" to us so even my child could understand. My only complaint was the wait time...way way too long.
Dr. Lawley is very knowledgeable and good at informing you every step of the process. He talked to my son, not at him and answered all his questions. My son, whose 14, appreciated being taken seriously and having a doctor who is good at what he does and who respects him as a person. He has great beside manner and his skills as a surgeon were obvious by the way he took care of my sons leg. We've been to both the Huntsville and the Madison location. This was our second experience with Dr. Lawley. First with our 6 year old and today with our 13 year old. In both cases, Dr. Lawley was very professional but kind. We felt that he was thorough and also listened to our concerns. We had an extremely long wait in the office beforehand but left feeling like that it was worth the wait.
He knew what he was talking about. Didn't cut us short but stayed on target with what needed to be discussed so he could move professionally to the next patient. Perfect!

Dr. Lawley was very professional, answered all of our questions, and left us feeling very confident. We didn't feel rushed at all and were able to get lots of good advice. I do wish the wait would have been a little bit shorter, but due to the sickness it is very understandable. Very glad to be referred to them, and felt it was time and money well spent. Thank you!
I took my daughter to see Dr Lawley, due to back pain. I’ll never go back. I, having seen back doctors for nearly 30 years, have never heard such gibberish and misinformation that Dr.Lawley told us. I’m sure that he would only make my daughter’s problem worse. Maybe he stayed in a Holiday Inn Express.
My son was seen for knee pain and everyone from the front desk to radiology to Dr. Lawley to check out and DME was amazing! We would definitely recommend TOC and Dr. Lawley for anyone needing an Orthopedic Surgeon.
