About this business

Compulsive, Independent, Individual, & Patient-loyal:This is traditional Pediatric Medicine. It's unpredictable. Subtle signs reveal unexpected illnesses. It demands same-day sick visits, individual, patient-loyal care. It often demand more time planned. Uncompromising commitment to such tradition forces my unpredictable appointment schedule and the unavoidable waiting. For the inconvenience I offer my explanation as I express gratitude for the privilege to serve your child. Thank you. Dr. A.

After 10 years with Dr A as my son's pediatrician I am finally making a switch. I don't know what took me so long. Every time I leave that office I am very irritated at the 1-2 hour wait time and the amount of prescriptions I leave with. And it doesn't matter the reason for the visit...he will always lecture me about how skinny my son is. My son is skinny, but very healthy and active. I'm a 33 year old woman and I weigh 110 lbs. We are just small people. He wanted my son to eat a stick of butter a day and has also given my s... read more

Our son & grandchildren have been going to Dr. Anderson's for several years. Although the wait times can be long, we understand each child is important. Why would I expect the doctor to spend quality time with my child and not with the other patients? I've seen parents come in being rude and hateful. My child is just as important as theirs. If they feel is an emergency than go to an urgent care or call 911! Doctors are not miracle workers, nor are they psychic....they are are dependent on knowledge and on information giving ... read more

While the staff have always been attentive, polite, and punctual, I have many issues with Dr. Anderson. First, he over medicates every time we are seen. Once, my son was bitten by little ants and the school nurse was highly concerned it might be an infectous spider bite. This obviously warranted an immediate visit. We were seen promptly (mid-day) but we were given this horrible "doom and gloom" speech about what "might" happen if we didn't fill all SIX prescriptions. We were told he could go "septic" and that it could be fat... read more

My daughter is 9 months old and has been to dr. Anderson since she was born. I am extremely unhappy and will be switching. I wait for a long time every visit. I can understand waiting at the doctor, but this is every time and extreme. I waited 2.5 hours today to even be seen. The past two time he has called my daughter mister and little man. Look at the chart before walking in! He referred her to a specialist for her head size when she was 6 mo and I have been there twice and each time he says he is concerned about that and ... read more

Changed Pediatricians after three months. My son, two months old, had a rash. Dr. Anderson said ring worm. After applying the medicine for 3 weeks with no change, I made another appointment. Dr. Anderson said to continue with the medicine. It would get better. I went for a second opinion to a different pediatrician and was told the rash was eczema. With in a couple days of adding Aveno Ezcema and a cream from the doc, the rash was gone and my son was much happier. The wait time is also extremely long. Not the wait time in th... read more

Excessive wait times, greater than an hour ALWAYS(better take an entire day off of work), always out of immunizations, always given stacks of prescriptions (same ones every time, even with my different children, symptoms, etc.), unfriendly staff, seemed to be guessing on diagnosing illnesses, poor bedside manner, financially unethical regarding trying to get money from insurance companies....I could go on and on. Very poor practice and it shows from the ratings. So very glad we went elsewhere and have not had ONE of the abov... read more

We have been all over the country to see leading doctors for our daughter, who suffers from a malabsorption disorder. She has numerous symptoms resulting from this. The specialists & other pediatricians we have seen run their battery of tests and tell us that our daughter is a mystery. Meanwhile, her symptoms get worse. This has been going on for a decade. Then we found Dr. Anderson last year. He has been the one & only doctor who takes the time to put all the information together & truly cares about what our daughter is goi... read more
