I have now had 2 knee replacements with Dr Michael Facek and have had excellent outcomes from both. Everything was explained well and I appreciated his warm caring manner. It was also great to be able to call Leah (registered nurse) with any concerns both before and after surgery. I highly recommend Michael and the team for this surgery.
Dr Facek is a wonderful knee surgeon. I am experienced through an injury in my right knee at an early age. Fortunately I approached Dr Facek when my left knee, my ‘rock’ started to give way. I had a knee replacement that went like clockwork. His support team was also excellent and I had no setbacks on my journey to pain free recovery. Thankyou Dr Facek and team.
1 year on from TKR for right knee, Dr Facek was excellent and the results have been better than i ever expected. The surgery went well with good communication from Dr Facek and his team, everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable. Physiotherapy at home was a great option for me. Highly recommend
Had an appointment with Dr Facek today for overseas post knee tibia plateau trauma injury. Received a thorough explanation of where to from here and concise summary of current issues per recent scans to be resolved. Would not hesitate in recommending this specialist.
I saw Dr Michael Facek this week to discuss options for my right knee, which had given me some grief recently. I rate Dr Facek very highly after he did a total knee replacement on my left knee in late 2021. My left knee has not given me any problems since the surgery, and full credit to the Physiotherapist, Brendon Burnett, who was instrumental in getting me back to normal walking in a few months after the surgery with his tough but effective exercise program.
