Meeting with a surgeon for the very first time can be scary and overwhelming. Our team understands this and tries to provide a calm and high-yield experience for the patient. In general, most spinal conditions may be treated effectively with conservative means including physical therapy and medications.

I have been treated by several neurosurgeons since 2011. Subsequent to a fall in May 2019, I met Dr. Michael Gomez in the emergency room of a local hospital. He made a great first impression in a bad setting. While explaining about the results of a brain scan, he demonstrated a great deal of knowledge and experience while being very professional, warm, and friendly. He visited me thereafter while still in the hospital and my impression of him did not change from the first time I met him. I visited his office today and again ... read more
Amazing Neurosurgeon!! Had my my lumbar microdisectomy and he changed my life. No more pain! He and his staff are amazing with their patients. Highly recommend him.
I do not recommend this doctor and I do not recommend any neurosurgeon at the end, they do not solve anything. I had a first failed surgery and I took the risk of a recommendation from a friend to do a second spinal fusion surgery, in one of his consultations before the surgery when Dr Gomez explained the procedure, he told me that the surgery would change my life and.... I was not wrong, today my life is a hell, I have much more pain than before I had surgery and now it hurts more and more ever
Dr. Gomez relieved me of excruciating lower back pain. Had a previous surgery years ago and it did nothing for me. The technique he used made a world of difference. His staff is experienced and very friendly. Highly recommend.
I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and then a fall accelerated my condition and I was in Miami on vacation. Dr Gomez graciously saw me and then I was scared about surgery and he did t pressure me, just said he would always be there. I returned to Tampa and realized I should have have him operate. He took me back no questions asked. Bottom line my C5 and C6 were now collapsing on my spine. He fixed them and when I woke up. I could only cry because the pain was gone. He is the best .
Ive been suffering from dizzy spells and lightheadedness from a head injury that occurred at work in which i was struck numerous times in the back of the head with a rock. With no scan no real check up of any, just a wave of his finger up and down and side to side, and for me to follow it ..This man told me i was good to go back to work.. Do your self a favor and find a real doctor that cares about his patients...STAY AWAY
Business response:
I am sorry your had such an awful experience in my office. It is not unusual to experience dizzy spells, lightheadedness, and headaches after a concussion. Fortunately, these symptoms resolve on their own with time. Reassuringly, there were no findings following a complete neurological exam.
