I've know Dr. Russonella for years - I met him through a friend and he's aces. He's willing to help you in any circumstance. Do yourself a favor and go to him first - no need for a second opinion.
He is up to date on all new techniques and if you are a athlete he is aware of the importance of getting you back on the field to compete at the highest level
Always helpful and attentive. Spends as much time with you as needed. Never feel rushed.
Dr Russonella is the very best orthopedic surgeon I have gone to other Drs. , none of them found my problem. Dr Russonella , not only found my problem, but fixed it. He is the best Orthopedic doctor around in my opinion

As a current medical student who needed urgent care regarding a finger fracture, I consulted this doctor because it was the quickest appointment I could schedule. I waited over an hour for my appointment with him. Then I was taken to the room and waited another thirty minutes there after an x-ray was taken. I fractured my ankle on New Years weekend, when I called for an appointment I was seen on Monday morning. Dr. Russonella was extremely helpful and concerned. After a few days I was contacted to see how I was doing. When I told him I was still in pain, he sent me for an MRI. I went for the MRI on Friday. Dr. Russonella called me that night and advised me I needed surgery because there were bone fragments that needed to be removed and ligament damage. My surgery was scheduled for the next week. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Shows no compassion or interest for that matter. If you are not a sports player with a broken bone he is not concerned about you. Very cold hearted and uncaring. I wouldn't send my dog to him. Unprofessional. Talks negatively about other doctors and hospitals.
