This is the ABSOLUTE WORST place to get your eyes checked. The previous doctor was awesome, but now the place has gone down hill. I got my eye hit by the equipment operated by young inexperienced front desk people operating the air test on my eye. They had my chin too high, my forehead was not on the strap and they did not adjust the machine before administering the test to ensure I did not get an injury. I have utilized Holcomb & Associates several times and trust my eye health with them. Dr. Travis is very thorough and efficient and explained the state of my vision in detail. She patiently answered questions about how health issues may/may not impact my vision. Staff were cordial. I highly recommend and will use them again. Alan C. (Marietta)

I accidentally stripped the head of one of the screws on my sunglasses. After visiting a couple of eye glass store in the Boise and Meridian areas, neither store was able to fix the issue. I then thought of taking my sunglasses to the Lens Crafters store on Emerald St. in Boise. In just a few minutes Drew, the Lab technician, fixed the issue. Staff is amazing. Dr. I had...well. I have spent 300 dollars on contacts I cant use due to " rushing to get home ,closing time" I felt trested like a pest trying to get what I wanted from him. SIgh

I had to get a special screw/ and tighten my light on my loops that I use for work. I do NOT have any alan keys to do this. I dropped into this location today and I spoke with Steve...he was busy, but said if I could give him 10-20 minutes, he would do his best to see if he could help me. He states that screws for glasses were a lot smaller, but he would look at his supplies and try to help if he could. I left the store for other errands and then came back. If I could give a 0 star review I would. I never had an eyeglass company that was so pitiful and the store manager admits on the phone with me that she has had a lot of issues with people with prescription issues but instead of solving the issue and taking the recommendation, she hangs up because I think with better training, they would not have as many issues like with my glasses, since April until November they could not get the prescription right and refuse to listen to what I am recommending to make it work.
