Dr. Gold saved my life, once. I am so very grateful for his care. I had dismissed my symptoms as normal perimenopause. Sadly, I had extended great patience to a real threat. Odd given my proclivity towards impatience. The tumor had spread from the uterus to the left ovary and then wrapped itself around my lower bowel. Surgery took 3 hours and two surgeons, Dr Gold and Dr Sclabas. Surgically, I am tumor free but now face 6 months of chemo to eliminate microscopic cells and 3 years of immunotherapy. I had an appointment time and arrived on time. I spent 2 hours waiting to see the doctor before deciding to leave. Appointments are made for a reason and patients should be seen within a more reasonable amount of time. After driving 2 hours to get to the appointment and waiting 2 hours just to see the doctor is unacceptable.
