Great Doctor who takes his time and explains things.
Dr. Firetag has given me a new lease on active living. He performed spinal surgery to relieve pressure on the nerves as well as clean up a ruptured disc. Now after 10 years I have no more back pain and am able to resume normal activities!
Prior Orthopedic Surgeon told me my spin was inoperative. He said "This is you life deal with it." I tried to for three years. I researched other doctors and eventually found Kennedy-White and Doctor Feiertag. He reviewed my MRIs and file history and recommended two alternatives. Epidural Steroid Injections and if they did not resolve the pain issue Surgery. The first three Injections took away 90+ % of the pain. He suggested three every six months if needed. I am from PA., I had an urgent problem, and instructed by my PC in Pa. to get appointment. I was seen in a reasonable time. Dr. Feiertag reviewed the information I brought with me. On time, very through, concerned about the history of my complaint. Excellent clarification of my problem and Rx options. Referred me to Dr. Herman for Rx. Scheduled me for follow up visit after Rx. Had back surgery 6 weeks ago. I feel great , no more pain, walkimg like new. Would recommend Dr. Feirertag and his staff to anyone who has a back problem.
Had back surgery with Dr. Feiertag 7 weeks ago with excellent results. I was under his care for 2 years before and he never rushed to surgery. He was very careful to explain all of the options to me and we tried several modalities before the surgery He took a great deal of time with me and he is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a 5 star surgeon.
Excellent. Dr. Feiertag was very knowledgeable, and took time to discuss my knee issues. Together, we outlined a plan that would give me options for handling the torn meniscus and the pain I was experiencing. My husband and I walked away with total satisfaction with my appointment and the proposed next steps. I would highly recommend him.
Dr Feiertag is a wonderful Doctor with a great bedside manner that took the time to explain everything I needed to know about my problem and the best way to treat my condition. I would recommend this doctor for any neurological/spinal issues you may have.
