i couldnt have said it better myself. "The only minor issue I have with their office is how rude and cold the front office personnel can be, especially if you are trying to work out something dealing with insurance, co-pays, or appointment scheduling policies" they have no clue how to talk to any one. i had a billing problem and when i called and tryed to straten things out i was talked to like a fool, but they could not give me one awnser for my bill they gave me several. and every time i proved them wrong i just got more r... read more
I initially thought he was a wonderful doctor, but changed my mind as my son grew older. Dr. Blum is quite knowledgeable, but he is a very poor listener. He has a tendency to interrupt before hearing all the symptoms during an appointment. I tried to bring up, for example, my sons tongue-tie for three well-child baby appointments. He cut me off each time. When my son was 6 months old, Dr. Blum lit into me in the exam room about my babys "tight frenulum." Dr. Blum was my pediatrician and now he is my daughters doctor. I love him because he has experience and is committed to having doctors available to talk to after the office is closed, calling parents back promptly if they have called the office with a question, and always having a physician available for any type of appointment whether its because your child is sick or because it is time for a regular physical. Dr. Blum was the pediatrician for all four of my children, who all loved him. In fact, they didnt want to leave him when they turned 18! He is now taking care of my two grandchildren. He is great with the kids, and always talks directly to them . . . not just to the parents. Hes very frank, open, and no nonsense when it comes to childrens safety. So, if your kids dont wear their seatbelts and bicycle helmets, hes not the doctor for you!
