Beware of this doctor. My wife has been seeing her for over a year now. She stated she has no records of other doctors. My wife got all her medical history and gave it to her. After, she said she won’t treat her for anything but her headaches, but also refused to fill any headache medication or see her for it. Multiple appointments canceled on her end stating she “called in sick”, or “overbooked”. Today, we received a letter for JWM board saying they will no longer treat her, yet gave no reason why. Dr. Cousin, is a caring and highly intelligent Dr. who listens and is straight forward in her approach to resolving medical issues. She goes above and beyond to find and correct any medical issues that arise.
If you don’t mind being called a liar, then by all means, see this doctor. I saw several of her colleagues up at st Vincent, and they were all kind, compassionate, understanding and willing to listen. When I was admitted to St. Francis with a UTI, Dr. Cousins saw me, because my symptoms of Guillian Barre have gotten worse (because the UTI made me extremely weak) and she said that “Guillian Barre doesn’t just come and go when it pleases (which is true, but people with GBS can be set back by things like UTIs) and that I was no... read more
Gosh I have no idea where to start when it comes to Dr Meredith Cousin with JWM Neurologist. She is simply amazing and a loving human being. She and I worked really hard to save my life from an undiagnosed condition that had killed my brothers and was slowly killing me in 2013. We worked as partners.
