Dr. Nicholes is a truly amazing surgeon! She has a wonderful bedside manner, and I feel heard and supported. She's careful and communicates clearly. During our appointment to discuss and plan the surgery, she asked if I had any recent infections, and I said no. In her follow-up questions, she gave some examples, including dental procedures. A few weeks prior, I had a failed root canal that had to be redone, and in my mind, I didn't connect that with infection.
