Incompetent, rude, negligent, and under qualified are just the beginning. I went in to see her for possibly an ear infection. She had a PA student with her, which is fine. But, did not even perform an exam on me herself. The student could not even take a blood pressure without getting the cords twisted. She seemed rude and just wanted to go home since my appointment was 4:45. I only saw her because my primary doctor was filled today, but I am embarrassed that healthcare is this pathetic.
I will be finding a different family doctor as soon as possible. Many visits with her and I have yet to feel I am in good hands. My last visit I was 3 minutes late. I explained the situation (Traffic) which was something that I could not have prevented. I apologized and asked if I could still see Dr. Brewster. I was rudely told I would have to reschedule. I then received a "nasty" gram informing me that "no-shows" are a waste of time. Well "no-show" is inaccurate. I'm the customer not them!
Dr. Brewster is medicore at best. It is extremely difficult to get an appointment and especially if it is some what urgent. The office management makes no exceptions for tardiness even if there are legitimate reasons beyond your control and will cancel your appointment if you are 10 minutes or more beyond your scheduled appointment time and send you a nasty gram about office policies. Even though no appointment is ever on time from the doctors end and you wait at least 20 minutes or more.
