Dr. Afshar is delightful, kind and gentle -- and occasionally has a sweet dog visiting in the office, which I loved. But the office staff is difficult to reach. I've called twice requesting a call back for an appointment, but have gotten none. Maybe I'm persona non grata with the staff, although I have no idea why. Last time I was there I was told I had a 'credit balance' with them, so it's not a matter of my not paying for my dental care. Guess I'll have to start looking for another dentist. So sorry to report this.. .

After spending 10+ years with another dentist, I decided to try Dr. Maz in his new location in Irvington. It is a beautiful office and has all of the most up-to-date technologies. Dr. Maz and his team were unbelievably friendly and caring throughout the unfortunate discovery of my need for a root canal. The appointment process thru my multiple visits have gone very smoothly.
