Dr. Maziar Lalezary literally save my left eye after a terrible accident! About 2 months ago I was merging onto the freeway when a big rig tire blew up. As natural instinct I turn and I felt something struck my left eye. It was a hot day had my window down and for my luck I forgot my sunglasses at work. 3 days 3 different hospitals and about 12 different doctors. Yes 12 different doctors. I was diagnosed with a macular pucker. It was causing me to have double vision. Dr Lalezary was referred to me by my eye doctor and she said that he had the skills needed for my procedure. I found him to be very caring, took all the time I needed to understand the procedure, and the follow up was extremely through. I would highly recommend this doctor for this sensitive task.

Prior to the injection there are several steps to the proces... read more

Dr. Maziar Lalezary with the Southern California Desert Retina center is fantastic. Being a type-1 diabetic for 45 years, I have seen numerous ophthalmologists over the years, and although all of them have been good, I feel very confident under Dr. Lalezary’s care. He practices using the latest medical technology treatments, which I find reassuring. Recently he performed macular pucker surgery on me and the surgery and recovery alone was superior under his direction. I never experienced any pain during and after the surgery,... read more
