when I brought my 37 year old daughter to Dr. Markus/Rocky Mountain Cancer Center we were given the fairy tale of assistance with nutrition, counseling, etc....never had that experience. The day Dr. Markus handed over my daugthters death sentence, he immediately left the room, went to his office to make notes and never looked back...Erin was gone within days...but he got his notes written.

I have been a patient of Dr. Marcus for 2 years. Excellent doctor and able to break down things in such an easy manner to understand. A year after my diagnosis my mother needed his services as well. Just as wonderful to her. Never felt rushed or ignored. He comes highly recommended and I understand why.

First, I must note that I am quite pleased with Dr. Markus. My issue is with the staff. I arrived for my appointment 15 min. early and and registered with the receptionist. I waited for 30 min. (15 min. past my appt. time) and inquired. The receptionist apologized and said that she had failed to log me in! She then informed me the Dr. was out for lunch and I would be 1st to see him at 1PM. I waited 75 more min. Others going in. Told them I was DISCUSTED and leaving. Dr apologized. Too late.

Dr. Markus is a wonderful compassionate doctor with tremendous knowledge of his field.

i feel very comfortable as one of Dr. Markus's pts. and this is huge as i am in the medical profession as well. With medical background, one is likely to be more aware of bedside manner, explanations of dx's, and overall professionalism projected by a physician. I am saying, beyond a shadow of a doubt, Dr Markus is top notch in all these areas.
