Dr. Wilson is a great neurosurgeon. He is very straight forward and listens to your concerns. Dr. Wilson discusses options depending on your medical condition and doesn’t try and push you into surgery. Dr. Wilson wants each patient to choice what is right for them.

Dr Wilson has performed 2 spine surgery’s on me. Results have not been good.BUT, I knew that was possible B4 surgeries. He asked me, “what will U say if they don’t work?” I looked him in the eye & said, “Dr Mathew, we tried”. After giving me all the facts he would then ask what I would like to do? I would never recommend this practice and this physician to anyone. Some of the most arrogant, rude, condescending people I’ve ever dealt with. Absolutely zero patient care or compassion; where they treat you like a number on a factory line than a human being. I’m still beyond angry with how my surgery and post op was handled. Do yourself a favor and find a different Nuero doc and facility.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Wilson he gave me a second chance at life. I had lower lumbar fusion L4, L5, and S1. I didn’t want to have surgery because I was so afraid of what could go wrong but I knew I could not have a life with that level of pain. Dr. Wilson talked me through every step of the procedure and he showed me my CT scan and explained it so I could understand what happened to my body and why He recommended I have the surgery. My life is so much better now. Thank you Dr. Wilson.

5 minute apt. Never went over mri results with me. Said go to physical therapy for 6 weeks 3 times a week and steroids up my spine if that does not work then come back. 2nd opinion, urgent surgery needed as it was not even the correct nerve Dr Wilson had suggested and waiting would have caused further damage that may have been irreversible. I have seen so many doctor through the years and have played this insurance game so many times. Before cortisone shots read what the FDA says .

In April of 2016, Dr. Wilson performed a total lumbar fusion of my spine. Because I had had two previous lumbar fusions (two vertebrae each of 2004 and 2006) by a surgeon not affiliated with Western Neuro, he had to contend with a lot of scar tissue, which complicated the surgery. However, Dr. Wilson, by his surgical expertise, was able to overcome the difficulties that presented, resulting in a 100% successful surgery and recovery. I now have no lower back pain. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson.
