Dr. Matthew Swanic is an efficient, highly skilled , compassionate, and truly shows that he cares for his patients. He is knowledgeable and takes the time needed to answer ALL the questions we had for him and to fully explain what is happening when we have vision problems. His staff is super friendly, the office is comfortable, and I am glad I was referred here by my friend. I would recommend this place to all!
This is a great office with a great staff. I had lasik about 10 years ago in LA and had noticed my vision at night is a bit blurry in one eye. They used some fancy machine and an exam to let me know that I was a bit nearsighted in one eye with some astigmatism. Dr. Swanic was great though because of my age he said NOT to repeat my lasik (which would have made him more money.) Instead he said to just get a pair of glasses for night driving because he showed me that the nearsightedness in my one eye is actually helping me see ... read more
Got me in quick for my eye problem. Even gave me a sample to help me get better without needing to go to the pharmacy!

Have not been able to see clearly since Dr. Swanic performed cataract surgery on both eyes. Not sure why and no explanation really given. He’s a nice enough man but not sure he can diagnose what is going on with my vision. His receptionist Jackie is quite pleasant and professional. Rest of his staff real snarky and one is definitely a flunk out from charm school. Chances are she actually failed the entrance exam. Can’t honestly say I would recommend this office.
Amazing visit
I was referred to Dr. Swanic by my previous Ophthamologist here in Las Vegas. Dr. Swanic is very pleasant and professional. He listens and answers all my questions. He accurately diagnosed my eye condition and performed surgery to correct it. Even though I was scared of the surgery, he was very reassuring. I returned later in the year to have the surgery done on the remaining eye. There is no one one else I trust more with my sight.
Went to Dr Swanic as recommended by my opthamologist in Oregon. Took all records and reccomendations and explained to this "so called" Opthamologist the history and resultant treatments. Dr. Totally ignored everything and prescribed glasses. Went to a specialist in Mesa, AZ and received the needed cornea transplants. This "quack" has no clue and is certainly not qualified to see patients for optholmic issues. "Might" qualify as an "Optometrist. JMHO! :( :
