I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Spitzer. He is very respectful, knowledgeable, and really takes the time to explain things, listen to your concerns and answer any questions you may have. Definitely recommend!
First meeting just recently and as a nurse I would give the office staff and Dr. Spitzer 4.5 stars. Great team.
This doctor seems more suited toward overtly LGBTQIA+ identified patients. When I explained that I was a cis/hetero and born female, Dr. Spitzer became extremely reluctant to adequately listen to my medical history and performed an overall cursory consultation of my needs, wants, and desires. Ignored my physical complaints that turned out to be Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, and told me I was depressed because my mother had died 7 months earlier. I was very sick and it was hard to get to that appointment (took 2 months at least to get it). I don't see how an endocrinologist thinks he is capable of diagnosing depression, and who does not even check for a thyroid condition (common illness in women). My quality of life was terrible.
