Very helpful and thorough when dealing with my kidney stone. Would definitely recommend him to others in need of urological treatment.
Dr. Shahbandi was extremely professional in his dealing with me finding blood in my urine. He followed up with me repeatedly until there was no longer any blood. His staff in the office was also very kind, courteous and helpful. I would recommend this doctor to others for any urological issues.
This Doctor is the absolute worse. I had a kidney stone and he told me laser lithoscopy is 100% effective. Needless to say I had surgery and he did not get the stone out. He never told me that I would be bleeding from my penis like a faucet afterwards. The next week I had it blasted like I wanted in the first place. He put in a ureteral stent that was very irritating. The doctor did not listen to me when I asked not to leave a stent or operate unless there is inflammation or a blockage. He continued the operation anyway and was unable to break the stone with the laser. In addition to that, he mentioned to me that I would need sound wave treatment which is what i asked for and told me to come into his office 3 days after the surgery to discuss it, meanwhile the stent is painful everytime i urinate.
