I have no comment on Dr. Shahbandi himself because I was never able to actually see him; however, he should be concerned with the way his patients are treated. New Jersey Urology - 1211 Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne has no respect for patients' valuable time. Wish i could give 0 Stars but 1 is the lowest. I made an appt. to see Dr. Shahbandi, filled out the forms and paid a $40.00 co-pay. Dr. Shahbandi really helped my husband! he was very thorough and explained everything to us. Highly recommend Dr Shahbandi!
While being treated for enlarged prostate Dr. Shahbandi found a large stone in my ureter and operated to remove it. He told me while removing it a piece broke off, went to the kidney, so we now had to go to the stone center for blasting. The next visit he said there were some small fragments in the kidney which will pass out. While I was reading my Cat Scan report I noticed it said the stones were still in the ureter. Went to another urologist, had new Cat Scan and the stones were still in the ureter, they were never removed... read more
I went to Dr Shahbandi for over 1 year, he never listened, and was continually giving me treatments at The Stone center. My last visit I was told all stones gone. I went to another urologist, and there was a 4 CM stone in my kidney! Dr Shahbandi never listens when you try to tell him anything. I felt rushed also. I had to ask for sonograms as I was rushed out of treatment. I would not recommend him at all. I feel it's all about the money.
Would not recommend this doctor to anyone. My young son had to have surgery in his private area and bandaged didnt come off in a week was stuck due to dry blood and he just ripped it off his private area and didnt have no care in the world that he is little and was upset and bleeding so much from ripping bandage that he got a bad infection for a week and was not good and my son couldnt walk to the car afterwards staff heard him crying and after doctor pulled bandaged off he said mom take care of him that he has other patient... read more
Dr. Shahbandi was thorough, pleasant and did not make me feel rushed. He answered all my questions about my condition. My surgery went just as he said - quick and with minimal pain afterwards. He was extremely knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anyone needing his services!
Dr Shahbandi was extremely knowledgable. He was able to diagnose my problem and treat it immediately with a simple solution. I have been following up with him since and have recommended several of my friends and family to him who he has been able to help. I highly recommend this doctor.
