Dr. Lewis is always in a good mood, which lightens the room., even at the end of the day. He knows what he is doing and if he has to recommend you to a specialist, he will send you to someone that he would send his family. He's a compassionate man but he won't beat around the bush either.
Dr. Lewis was a great listener, and has been very quick in responding to inquiries through his practice's patient portal.
20 years ago I was lucky to unsuspectedly walk in Dr. Mathew Lewis office in the old Aurora location, close to East Colfax and Potomac. Dr. Lewis has been my doctor for 15+ years. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. You always have a choice of seeing a PA or one of the doctors.
I have been a patient at Mile High Primary since 2018, but I have never once met a doctor. I have had 5 appointments and not once have I ever been graced with the presence of one of the doctors, not even when I asked the scheduler to schedule me to see one of them. She didn't even tell me she scheduled me with the "new" PA. If I had known that I couldn't see the doctor, I would have asked to see the PA I knew. I am a patient of Dr. Mathew Lewis for 20 years; all this time I was treated with respect, and I have had experienced the highest degree of professional medical care. Dr. Lewis and his great staff spare no effort to go above and beyond, always having the interest of the patient in mind. I have been with Dr Lewis since moving to the Denver area 5 years ago. As an older patient with many medical issues, Dr Lewis has proved to be the perfect base for all my medical needs. He helps me when he can, or refers me to specialists when needed. Dr Lewis monitors the myriad of tests I need, even bugging me when I fail to comply promptly enough. His humor is better than mine too! I’ve been seen by far too many doctors in my long, sick life. I can honestly say Dr Lewis is (don’t tell him) my favorite doctor.
I saw Dr Lewis after a car accident. He was professional, thorough, and compassionate. He listened and was very easy to relate to.
