I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. I came in dealing with symptoms that are clearly connected and significantly affecting my daily life, but I felt dismissed almost immediately because my case did not fit into a straightforward or “typical” category. He was so crotchety, impatient, and dismissive. He told me that he wasn’t able to test for what I needed, but still took my appointment and my specialist fee insurance copay.
The allergy clinic is very accommodating and efficient. Dr Abbott listens to my concerns with thoughtfulness and adjusts my plan as needed.
0% empathy, 100% ego… but still has good understanding/ logical interpretation of testing. Hard headed and doesn’t work well with you to make future plans. Just gets stuck in present view. Probably a good doctor for kids or someone that has simple allergies. But if you have multiple chronic illnesses this doctor will not motivate you on your journey.
