Dr. Lefferman seems to have a contract of sorts with Oakmont Senior Facilities. Therefore, when my parents started living in the one in Valencia, we hired Dr. Lefferman to work with my parents. We quickly realized that was a big mistake. He rarely shows up, he sends his nurse practitioners occasionally. My dad in particular needed much more attention and care than that. We have since switched to a different concierge doctor and are extremely pleased!
Several families I know are very pleased with the care their loved ones receive from Dr Lefferman. His gentle and understanding approach truly sets him apart.
If you like excuses and hallow apologies sign up for this practice. They have a large staff who can't communicate correct appointment times and won't take responsibility for their mistakes. My Mom had an appointment, but Dr. Lefferman relyed on a caregiver to identify her and didn't bother to check the profile. He ended up treating a different patient as my Mom and because of this my Mom was never seen. Horrible! This doctor has too many clients snd makes zero time for tge one’s he foes have. My mother is 90 snd has been struggling, in and out of the er, etc., and gas made no effort to respond to her blood work issues, and now her mental state is deteriorating Do not use this doctor. He is using clients to grab insurance money and not show up or respond Shameful behavior for a health care professional Zero stars is unfortunately not an option
Dr lefferman is a good doctor. I really do like him and the decisions he makes for my mom. However, it is impossible to get a hold of him. His office never returns my messages. The only time they did was 2 weeks later. He never checks in on the residents andis not available in urgent situations. Another doctor in his office misdiagnosed my mom with a fungal infection when she had shingles and a UTI. They only handled that by text. I sent him pictures and he still didn't see it with shingles.
