Dr. Marr Varacallo and his staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and understanding. I had an exceptional experience with them. Very professional, if you do and listen to them of what they, he, wants you to do before, during and after surgery things will be great. I had my right knee replaced 4 years ago and have no pain now. I had chronic left knee pain for several years . Dr Matt Varacallo performed a left total knee replacement . I had a quick , uneventful recovery and I’m headed back to work next week. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Matt and his great team!! Highly recommend!!!
I have to say that my surgery was very complicated because I had to have the trauma team remove a rod in my leg first. Dr. Matt replaced the knee and I couldn’t be happier. The pain was very minimal afterwards. Really the only time I’ve had pain was after therapy and very little at that. My mother had her knee replaced. She complained three months afterwards and said there was something wrong. That was nine months ago. We have going to see the doctor six times over the past four months he keeps saying there was nothing wrong. Now my mother cannot even walk. It is time. The healthcare board looks into him the last time two weeks ago he looked higher than a kite. He definitely should not be doing medical practice anymore. I am six months post op from a right total knee replacement. Seriously, five stars isn't enough for Dr. Varacallo, his staff and my experience at DuBois hospital. Make your consultation appointment with confidence. When it's time for my left knee, Dr. Varacallo and his team will be my first and only choice.
