Our experience with Dr. Maryam Kashi was alarming. Our daughter was referred for severe abdominal pain and chronic diarrhea. Without a thorough evaluation, her team diagnosed IBS-C and prescribed laxatives, which only worsened her condition. Follow-up concerns were dismissed, and they continued the same ineffective treatment despite clear signs something was wrong. Dr. Kashi showed little flexibility or empathy, and even prescribed antibiotics without any confirmed infection. It ultimately took a second opinion and proper te... read more

Dr Kashi did my colonoscopy and took the time to thoroughly treat and eliminate pre-cancerous polyps. She knows her stuff, and her surgical staff is so nice and comforting. They all make it as positive as possible. I highly recommend her!
I ended up in the ER because of Dr. Kashi! Came to her because of debilitating diarrhea that was happening daily for months. She told me it was constipation and prescribed Plecanatide. No test were done. Ended up so dehydrated from the constant liquid waterfall coming out of my butt that I lost 10lbs and couldn't urinate at all, which of course required a visit to the ER. After the ER, when I called to try to make an appointment considering something was clearly not right, I was told I 'just had one so that doesn't make sens... read more
Dr Kashi did not listen to anything I said, was super dismissive, including dismissing recent test results. She spent less than 10 minutes with me and gave me three prescriptions I don’t want or need. Her after visit notes were completely incorrect.

These days it seems that the actual doctors are very knowledgeable and considerate, but the front office and/or automated communication systems are poor. This is the case with Dr Kashi's office. My mother has developed what appears to be a sudden chronic ailment and she has yet to be contacted by Dr Kashi or representative to address the issue. We've used the electronic messaging system as well as placed calls and left messages but there's been no response. We are in the ER now trying to get some scans done to figure this ou... read more
Dr. Kashi was friendly enough but said she has no experience with special needs patients. She wasn’t sure what to do since my son is non-verbal. She said I should schedule any follow- up appointments with a doctor with more experience with that population.
Dr. Kashi herself is great but trying to get through to the office to get medication refills is ridiculous! Total failure for their communication!

Dismissed my bleeding as "straining," said mucus in stool was positive (in what universe?), and told me not to compare my bowel habits to my husband (I never mentioned even being married) or a neighbor. Such a weird and offensive thing to say. I got a second opinion from a doctor at a different practice who did a colonoscopy straight away - as you should when bleeding is present - and found I had severe ulcerative colitis and life-threatening anemia as a result. I went to Dr. Kashi's office three times, once with her and twi... read more

I had Dr. Kashi for my colonoscopy and she was great. She met with me beforehand and answered my questions. Procedure went well, no issues. Friendly and made me feel comfortable. Would recommend for a colonoscopy!
