The worst experience I have ever had in my adult life and I’m a black woman. First Amini tried to reprimand me privately for having to reschedule my appointment when I was completely flexible to do a different date. The phone representative let me know she had several openings. She made me feel less than her. Dismissive, talking to me like I was dumb. I agree with everyones negative sentiments. Very impatient, dismissive, condescending. Quick to push medication on first meetings, without looking into any medical history. The medicine which insurance does not cover, so why do I even need you. What is the expertise you bring to the table? I left very upset. Her staff is great tho.
Condescending and dismissive best describes initial meeting. Basically pitched the Adkins diet with medication., without disclosing it most likely isn't covered by insurance. Felt like most shady doctor I've ever seen.
I have been seeing Dr. Amini for nearly a year and am so grateful for her care and support. After seeing I had been hospitalized, she reached out to me to schedule a follow-up, without any prompting from me. She has guided me and been patient with me as I schedule her recommended tests with other physicians as well as lab work and vaccines. After every visit, she makes sure I have a follow up appointment scheduled. This woman has no business seeing elderly patients. She's impatient with things like being hard of hearing or having no short-term memory. She is mean, condescending, and hostile for absolutely no reason. Her office changes appointment dates at the last minute, without apology. We were 10 minutes late for an appointment, called ahead of time to let them know, and when we got there were told that she went home.
