Rude staff who hung up on me when I asked a simple question. I called back and was hung up on again when I asked if this was the person who I just spoke with.
As a Doctor I really like her, but her staff is not helpful at all. I never get return phone calls either. They have sent me to urgent care clinics and I have ended up in hospital emergency rooms because I couldn't get appointments.
Dr. Scanlon is our family doctor for myself and my husband. She is amazing! What doctor do you know that gives you a true "hug" when she enters your appt. ? She has a great sense of education and knowledge and helped me immensely with my heart issues and other health issues. She is on point and tells you what you NEED to hear, but in a caring and mannerly way. Has great bedside manners at the hospital and is always smiling. My husband and I consider her part of our family and am indebted to her.
Dr Scanlon is probably the best PCP I’ve been to. She takes time to listen - and you can tell she cares. I thing being a DO makes the difference- caring for the whole individual.
Dr. Scanlon obviously she truly cares about every individual patient. Dr. Scanlon listens and takes time with her examination. Dr. and Office staff are responsive to emergent needs. I have received nothing but excellent care from Dr. Scanlon and her staff
Dr. Scanlon is a very caring intelligent doctor whom I absolutely trust, however her office manager and fornt desk are awful I have been calling to schedule appointment for about two weeks and no one has called .

Dr. Scanlon is a very caring, intelligent doctor whom I absolutely trust, however, her front desk is abominable in that I've had incorrect diagnoses sent to my insurance company which had nothing to do with me. Called 3 times for a referral requested by Dr. Scanlon, which after 1 week never made it to the diagnostic center causing me to cancel. My prescription was never called in after one week which will force me to go through Medicare to get approval. Enough is enough.
Wait time is absolutely ridiculous. Obviously the doctors’ and the staff’s time is more important than everyone else’s. The receptionist was extremely rude. When approached the receptionist shrugged her shoulders and said it is always like this. If that is true, then someone needs to work on the scheduling. We will look for another doctor who has time for her patients. I left after 1.5 hours and would not be given an estimated time to be seen
