After my week long inpatient stay at a psychiatric hospital, I was referred to Mary for therapy. After botching the scheduling and forgetting appointments, we had our 2nd session, which was an absolute nightmare. She ranted for over 30 minutes about her political beliefs regarding transgender people and how she thinks they’re disgusting, insulted my appearance and self-expression, and belittled my experiences and issues. My fiancé and I saw Dr. Mary once back in the summer of 2021 after experiencing the devastating death of our preemie infant. Mary knew beforehand of the situation and why we were coming to see her. The entire awkward appointment was 50 minutes of her telling us she “doesn’t really know what to say” and that she “thinks we will be fine.” My fiancé and I went to Mary for compassionate care and professional advice, but instead left feeling even more hopeless than before. She is a FRAUD!
