Dr Summers put me at ease about my surgery and explained everything clearly. She and her staff made the whole cataract procedure comfortable from beginning to end.The difference in my vision was astounding! I will be recommending Dr Summers to anyone looking for eye care.
Every time I have an appointment I end up waiting 35-45 min past my appointment time before I am seen. Seems most of the patients are retired or don’t work. I pay a lot of money for my insurance and I expect to be treated with respect and like a valued customer.
I just recently moved to Lafayette and was referred to Dr Summers for my eyes. I needed cataract surgery in both eyes and she was very professional and made me feel very comfortable having these issues resolved. She and her staff will go the extra mile to make sure you get the treatment that you need and they will work with you on the scheduling of appointments. Yes I would definitely recommend Dr Summers to my friends and family.

No I will not although she is very good at what she does I would not want anyone of my family to Be put off or rescheduled every time especially when you have to depend on other people to take you to your appointments. I only have one son as I lost my oldest son last year November 13,2020 and my son who is here in Lafayette however he works out of town more than in town. If you are looking for a doctor and you are still on the fence, Dr. Summers and her staff are some of the best! Dr. Summers was the first of many doctors to work on my husband after he suffered trauma to his left eye. I will always be thankful to Dr. Summers for her fast response and attentive care in those early days. She came in on a Saturday just to check his eye after a Friday surgery, she made sure to stay in touch with us post-op and she even gave me her cell if we had an issues. She is amazing!
