I highly recommend Dr. Pavone. She is very thorough and explains everything fully. I trust her ability in making decisions and her authority and expertise. She is very knowledgeable.
Dr. Pavone was the dr scheduled at the IVF clinic on the day my dr scheduled me for a procedure. Of all the drs I have met at NW's IVF clinic, she is the only one I would NOT recommend. Her bedside manner is very cold and short. She does not explain to you what to expect or what she is doing during the procedure like most drs do to help patients prepare for pain/discomfort. She kept sending the nurse out for different size speculum and catheter. Afterward she offered no feedback on how it went.
Dr. Pavone has horrible bedside manner and I do not trust her clinical opinion. She did not want to proceed with any fertility drugs with me upon our first meeting. There wasn't much discussion, she told me I should just use a donor and didn't give me any hope or allow me to try any treatments. I am now seeing another doctor at Northwestern and have had success! I do not recommend Dr. Pavone at all.
