She spends alot of time with me!!!
I have been going to Dr.DeFigard for approximately 44 years. ( except for 12 years in the central coast) I knew her when I worked at Good Sam and she was recommended by an RN I worked with. She always sends me to the best specialist when I need and the time she takes with each patient is unheard in medical practices now. I think the world of her and appreciate the devotion and compassion for her patients and to medicine . Dr. DeFigard has been my primary physician for 13 years, and I have never had a better, more compassionate, more thorough doctor. I have several chronic illnesses, and have required hospitalization more times than I can count, but she never makes me feel like I am taking too much of her time or patience. No matter how many hours she has put in on any given day, she always returns phone calls, even if it is during the evening hours. Dr. DeFigard is amazing! I’m a new patient and she blows all other doctors out of the water. She makes hospital visits at midnight, came into a skilled nursing home in the evening snd staff at the nursing home said doctors from the outside NEVER come in. She calls back after I emailed a complaint after hours, her staff called her to pass my message at how upset I was and she called me at 9pm and spent 30 minutes. She handled my inquiry and picked up where my oncologist dropped the ball. I love her and wish I found her years ... read more

She has been my primary care doctor for over 40 years. Not only am I pleased with her but every medical professional I come in contact with respects her.
Dr.DeFigard has been my primary physicians since 1978 with 12 year absence when I moved out of SC Valley. I got to know her when I was an employee of GSH back then and witnessed her care for her patients. When I needed a specialist ,I always am very happy with recommendations. She is so kind and takes her time with each patient. ( because of this I always allow time for running late it’s worth it to me)
