A very large filling fell out of my molar and my normal dentist was out of the country and I was told I would not be able to be seen for a month. The tooth was so sensitive I could not drink water or eat. My sister told me to call her dentist (Dr Chomic) so I did and they were able to get me in same day to put in a temporary filling so I could drink/eat that night.
