Dr, Marty Smukler was mid-wife back up back in the mid-80'd ... he was at my son's birth and was an amazing alliance. 12 hours of self induced labour ( in accordance with Spiritual Midwifery) , no pain meds no internal nor external damages and zero complications in labour and delivery .. My son weighed 10 #'s 4 oz and was 22 inches long with a HdC 36cm & chest circumference the same. Hope to see Dr.Marty in his practice of "today", no longer at the North Country Clinic, but in Eureka..

The front office staff at Dr. Smukler's office is a mixed bag. Some are kind and sweet, some are rude and condescending. Sometimes downright rude. I don't get it. I am an easy patient. I have seen Dr. Smukler 6 times in the last 14 months and do not feel as though he understands my specific problem. I can't figure out why we won't refer me to a doctor in the field of my injury. He can be extremely unprofessional at times, and seems bored. The one big plus is that he never seems in a hurry.
