My cataracts were getting bad. After wearing glasses over 60 years I chose to get the cataracts removed and have Dr. Arkin implant new lenses. Surgery was painless and successful. Better than expected. I now have better vision 20 20 for distance and can read without glasses. I would highly recommend Dr Arkin and having your surgery sooner rather than later!
Very professionally run office. Exceptional academic and clinical background and experience. I trusted Dr. Arkin and thought he gave me great advice.
I had 2 very bad eyes, far sighted, near sighted and astigmatism to a high degree. Dr. Arkin performed PRK (photorefractive keratectomy) on both my eyes about 10 days apart. The results have been nothing short of miraculous. 16 years later I still have 20/20 vision and do not even require reading glasses. The icing on the cake -totally unexpected - my night vision improved immeasurably. :).
Really an outstanding surgeon. I had Cataract surgery on both eyes with upgrades to the better lens. I can't say enough about both the quality of service as well as the quality of the lens.
