Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, trustworthy, he is all you want in an optometrist. I have been seeing Dr Arkin since we first arrived in Norwalk in 2006. He is a great eye doctor! He and his staff thoroughly check the health of your eyes with high-tech retinal scans, glaucoma screening, etc at the annual check up. My entire family goes to Dr. Arkin and, I personally, have been a patient of his for about 15 years. I would recommend going to Dr. Arkin to anyone. He and his staff are by far the best.
Yesterday was my first visit at Dr. Arkin's office. From the front desk staff to the doctor himself, I had a fantastic experience. I want it to be known that this review is coming from someone who isn't a fan of any kind of doctor but I really enjoyed my visit. I have no insurance and I mention that because my appointment was made with lack of any judgment and it was affordable. I had an emergency on a Saturday and Dr. Arkin and his staff were absolutely amazing! They took me in even though I was a new patient without hesitation. When I arrived, they saw me right away and were so kind and caring for me and my issue. At my follow up a week later they were again so kind and even helped me pick out glasses. My entire experience was wonderful. I highly recommend them!
They had a cancellation and called me in a week before my scheduled appointment. The timing was perfect. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They explained everything clearly and made the experience so easy. You know how doctor visits could go! And Marty's a pro. I've been seeing him for over 10 years. We've been through many prescriptions together. The world looks clearer to me, thanks to him. I'll be seeing them again...ha!
