Dr. Armitage has been my orthopedic surgeon for 2 surgeries. I had a total complete shoulder replacement and he was the most thorough and caring surgeon I have ever met. He is the best at what he does and he has a excellent bedside manner. He is not the kind of surgeon who will put you on the operating table if you really and truly do not need a surgery like many other surgeons do. correction on Alan G. review (not 1998 but 2015)
Dr. Armitage was able to eliminate my should instability. The process leading up the operation was simple. Surgery went smooth, along with the recovery. As far as surgery’s go, can’t ask for much more then that.
3 visits all wait times avg 1 hour. Staff explained last visit he got a late start. My 9:30 appt. Changed to 9:10 no notice. After 1 hour drive told there were 3-4 people ahead of me. Please understand I liked the dr. About as much as you can *like a Dr. Even recommended him because he did not jump at surgery. But, there is no excuse for the treatment and the wait times.
I am 4 1/2 months out of a moderate rotator cuff and bicep tendon repair and with pt have attained approx 90% ROM and very little pain that gets less and less with time. Very pleased with these results despite the early rough going which was expected with this surgery. Dr A’s follow ups have been very thorough and patient. Great bedside manner. Questions and concerns are handled with a friendly and professional manner. Can’t wait to do my other shoulder!! Jk
I've had two rotator cuff surgeries and an ACL repair done by Dr. Armitage. While surgery is never easy, he and his staff made the remaining processes as pain-free as possible. We had many discussions about the injuries, the repairs, and recovery process before the surgery. Plenty of follow up visits as well. I never felt rushed and always felt he had my best interests in mind. Answered all my questions with a smile, great bedside manner, and after 3 surgeries, incredible surgeon too!
Fixed both or my distal bicep tendons on separate occasions. Recovery has been 100%. Id recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Armitage did an excellent job operating on my shoulder recently and I have been very pleased with his professionalism throughout the process including post opt appointments.
