If I could give -1 I would. Dr. Peris did my back surgery and I told him "I think there's a screw in my nerve". 6 years of excruciating pain, hips burning, can't walk or stand longer then a minute. He keep telling me to "Go for weight loss surgery". REALLY? I went to HOSPITAL FOR SPECIAL SURGEY, and what do you think they found? Nerves tangled around a screw!!!! Though I am aware of his medical reputation, I am sorry to say this wasn't a great experience for me. Dr Peris was for a second opinion. I was told by his staff to drop off the cd of my mri and he would review it and make an appointment. Instead, i got a call from his asst that there was nothing he could do surgically. I WAS at the very least hoping for a visit to explain the multitude of issues with my bad spine, what he saw on the mri and what HIS courses of action would be. Why wouldn’t surgery help? I recommend Dr Peris to everyone. I was injured at work and had a microdiscectomy at the end of November. He was very friendly, informative and relieved my pain instantly. I was bed ridden for months leading up to surgery. A couple hours after my surgery I was 99% pain free and was able to walk out of the hospital with no assistance
I don’t think is the nurse I think that he is really good but reality check is that he needs to step down of his high horse and come back to reality he is not all that
