Dr. Weidenbaum was my surgeon for a T12 L1 spinal fusion with a rib bone graft in 1999 (I was 21 at the time) Two pregnancies and 26 yrs later my fusion is still intact and I am still an athlete. He is not only a brilliant surgeon but a caring and compassionate person

My experience with Dr Weidenbaum extremely unpleasant and a total disappointment. He is not professional at all and in some way disrespectful. He does no care about your clinical condition. He does not listen to your concerns. My impression was that this Dr is lost within his own profession. He has to check himself. He had the MRI on the computer and he could not figure out what were the C levels of my cervical spine. Dr Weidenbaum does not perform surgeries. Dr. Weidenbaum restored my ability to walk pain-free. Before the surgery for spinal stenosis and disc problems my level of pain was a 10. Hours after my surgery I was asked about my pain level and my answer was "Well, the incision is sore.". After about 1 week in rehab I was walking normally. This event was many years ago, but to this day I am grateful for the blessing of being pain-free.

I found that Dr. Weidenbaum was good and answering my questions prior to lumbar fusion surgery, and was compassionate and attentive while I was in hospital. However, when it turned out that my spine hadn't fused (something I just recently found out from another surgeon at another hospital), his entire attitude toward me changed. He and his nurse played a little game at my expense during my final 2 year examination, guessing at what I personally had done wrong to cause the current pain I was in

I had severe major back pain and multiple problems with my spine. I required two surgeries, two weeks apart in order to correct the many issues. Dr. Weidenbaum completely explained the procedures and prepared me for the surgeries. After, he displayed a level of care, kindness and compassion that was unparalleled in my experience. He is a fine surgeon and a fine person.

Dropped my coverage suddenly with no warning! Totally unprofessional & unconcerned I would not recommend him to anyone!

i had a herniated disc that compressed my sciatic nerve, the pain that this caused was beyond excruciating, i could not stand for more than fifteen seconds before that freight train pain would put me a fetal position,this was for weeks then months,twenty four hours a day i did not have a life anymore, i found dr mark weidenbaum on line thank god for this man he will get your life back. he did my surgery in the morning i was up walking the same morning and went home the same day.
