I was diagnosed with gall stones after an ultra sound was taken. My primary care doctor recommended Dr. Shachner. The office staff was polite, courteous and respectful. I found the same to be true for Dr. Shachner. He is well regarded in the community. Dr. Shachner performed robotic/laparoscopic surgery at Northwest Regional Hospital. I did stay over night at the hospital. My overall experience with the doctor and his staff was positive. I quickly healed from the surgery.
Meet with Dr. Shachner for my on going GERD/LPR condition, a chronic cough that I've had for years and up to now Dr.s have placed me on medications that have not helped. He listened to my concerns and was very kind in answering my questions.
Dr. Shachner came HIGHLY recommended to us by SEVERAL people in our community and I can definitely understand why! Not only does he possess impeccable qualifications/experience/training, he also demonstrates incomparable compassion for others. Upon receiving her diagnosis, my mom was both shocked and disappointed. Dr. Shachner was very sensitive to her needs and spoke to us in a language we could all understand. We are so grateful that the outcome was favorable and my mom is doing so well.
I do not recommend this Doctor. I did not appreciate his poor bedside manner, impatience for answering my questions and I had to wait over an HOUR to get test results that he said he could have just told me over the phone once I did see him - which told me he didn't care one bit about my feelings during this stressful, painful biopsy problem. I had a complication after which he mocker me about and there office never did help me resolve my bleeding after. I DO NOT recommend this Doctor.
They state We are a dedicated group of experienced well trained surgical specialists that work to develop and maintain a healing relationship with our patients and their families. You can trust us to deliver the highest quality of care in an efficient and caring manner. THIS IS TOTALLY THE OPPOSITE! They let my mother sufffer with excruciating pain for almost 3 days at the Coral Springs Hospital just because they dont do surgeries on weekends. Very uncompassionate!
