I went to Dr. Puricelli when working through a migraine situation. Prescribed me the recommended medications and we nailed down something that worked. That being said, I echo everyone's sentiments here. Has the personality and bedside manner of a dish towel, so I started seeing his Physician's Asisstant, she was much more caring, explanatory, and helped nail down things. She's since left, so I don't think I'll be back. He may work for some people, but the zero empathy and just exasperated demeanor he has with me every single... read more
Total and complete waste of time. His demeanor made it clear that he hates his job and could not care any less about patients. Very demeaning. He simply wrote a prescription to try to appease and get us out of the room. It is amazing to me he has no disciplinary action against his medical license. He should seriously consider a different career.
The most angry unhappy doctor I’ve ever visited. Presented as us in asking up his time and energy. Spoke negatives under his breath about my 83 year old mother and her delay in answering his questions. Told us he was ordering a blood test but did not order a blood test. Recommended another appt 6 months from now. However my mothers falling is acute. 5 times in one month. Not believable nor trustworthy. Time for him to retire.
Dr.spent an extended time with us, asked about my headaches ,what did work in past n when it stopped working, what I was doing now and if it worked at all- suggested substitute preventive treatment and would I be willing to try it, suggested substitute response meds and their limits- I was apprehensive after reading horrid patient reviews but husband said “ we love movies others hate, maybe we’ll like him- go with an open mind”- SO right. THANK YOU so much, Dr.P.
Dr. Puricelli didn’t discuss a single possible reason for the head pain that I was experiencing. When visiting a Neurologist you expect to at least be given options as to what could cause your pain. He seemed to have never read my chart and attempted to prescribe me a medication that I was already on. I spoke with him for maybe 4 min which ended with an MRI being scheduled. However, he has yet to call me with those results and it has now been 11 days (and counting). I would give zero stars if possible.
I would leave less than a star if possible, but it would not accept that as a choice. Mr. Purcelli acted as if I was an inconvenience to him from the very first moment. When I began to explain my post-craniotomy pain from a ruptured brain aneurysm and subarachnoid hemorrhage; he interrupted me, told me that that my pain was nothing but migraines, and prepared to leave the room. When I then inquired if he had even read my chart or history, he dismissed my question and left. I was left alone, sitting in the exam room, not even... read more
Visited this doctor with my mother on 6/12/19. He treated us like idiots, refused to fully answer any questions and made an incorrect diagnosis. He has zero social skills or beside manner and makes you feel stupid. He should not be in practice. Please review the large number of negative reviews you see on this site!!
I spent the better part of an hour summarizing my issues on paper to save time. It would have taken him two minutes to read it. He obviously didn't. I won't go back.
“Diagnosed” my mother’s extreme arm pain as having hit her crazy bone & suggested a elbow pad because her arm was too skinny. Actually was a blood clot in her upper arm that needed surgery. He is incompetent.
