I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor and his staff. Unfortunately, I don’t believe they are well-suited to care for children, as they showed little compassion or understanding in our situation.Our appointment was scheduled for 3:30 PM, and we arrived at 2:48 PM. I have multiple health issues including Leukemia. My Neurologist was looking for the problem of diminishing vision & exploring all possibilities. Dr. Schaffer is a genius in his field. Yes, this was very thorough & expensive… However, absolutely worth the time & money. Dr Schaffer has a heart, he cares & is continuing to work w/me to be able to hopefully improve my visual feed… Leukemia comes w/all kinds of other medical issues & reason to get the best diagnosis & treatment at any cost. Awesome experience with my surgery. Great doctor. I look 10 years younger doing my underneath eyes ??
My medical issues have not needed his surgical skills but more towards regeneration of nerve/muscle functions around my eyes. As a two time survivor of Bell’s Palsy I need injections every three to four months, very close to my eyes. My old eye doctor in NJ strongly suggested a surgeon who was very experienced with this treatment and determined Dr Kronish was the doctor I should visit. Dr Jan Kronish is a great doctor! However the Frontline in this office needs to be more receptive and attentive. Wait times on hold to make an appointment or are calling with a concern that exceeds 20 minutes to have your call answered is not acceptable!
My surgery results lasted barely 2 years. At best the work was subtle. Please interview other physicians for surgical opinions.
most of the exam is done by a nurse and not a doctor. The office is not clear with what insurance doesn't cover and when you go to retrieve the glasses prescription you are told if you don't pay for a test that was performed not covered by insurance (don't even know if the test is necessary), they won't give you the prescription. This is disgusting.
