I was hospitalized a year ago today with a burst appendix and sepsis. Dr. Abbruzzese gave me hope both physically and emotionally. He is truly the most caring and knowledgeable doctor and I am so very grateful! I’ve never met a kinder doctor!
I had been hospitalized at Sibley Memorial Hospital for 4 days. After numerous tests leaving the medical team scratching their heads and prescribing antibiotics without knowing for what, I met Dr. Abbruzzese after requesting an Infectious Disease specialist to consult on my situation.
