Best surgeon ever! He took out 1/2 my thyroid approx 2008 as it had a mass on it. When he took it out he noticed a huge mass behind it by throat and he removed it. Think I have same problem with other 1/2 thyroid now and can feel masses in throat and spent 6 hrs in E.R. 2 days ago, to no avail. Having trouble breathing, constant coughing like something in throat, and large capsules (pills) I'd take lodge in the area where I think a huge mass is in my throat and seems to be closing my throat/windpipe. Dr Owens was my physician when I was in a horrific car accident. Dr Owens had me out of the hospital on my feet in 4-5 days. He is a very caring physician & the best surgeon w/ a great bedside manner. Later he also cared for my Mother when she was diagnosed w/ cancer & had her see the best specialists & radiologists to help in finding a more specific diagnosis. Dr Mark Owens you rock!
